Determination of spatial position of tibial graft using X-ray images after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

چکیده
Background/Aim. Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction is one of the most commonly performed knee surgeries in young adults. The success this procedure largely depends on proper formation tunnel, which obtained by drilling tibia and serves to position fix graft. aim study was present a method for determining spatial graft based only two standard X-rays. Methods. group 15 patients whom developed software applied measurement angle tunnel selection characteristic points X-rays (anterior-posterior lateral projection). results were compared with measuring images computed tomography (CT) all patients. Results. measured CT scans was, average, some-what greater (59.07? ? 5.61?) than applying application (58.65? 5.89?). indicated minimal differences without statistical significance measurements using (Wilcoxon test: Z = -1.363; p 0.173). Conclusion. presented are suitable everyday clinical applications terms precision usability can be used assess tunnels process surgery or preparing revision surgery.

Failure of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction
The present review classifies and describes the multifactorial causes of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery failure, concentrating on preventing and resolving such situations. The article particularly focuses on those causes that require ACL revision due to recurrent instability, without neglecting those that affect function or produce persistent pain. Although primary ACL reconstructio...

Background: Anterior Cruciate Ligament) ACL (injury is the most prevalent knee ligament injury during exercise, with a frequency of 36.9 per 100000 individuals. The one characteristic of this injury is proprioception dysfunction. The current study investigated the knee proprioception in soccer players after ACL reconstruction. Methods: The study participants consisted of 20 elite male soccer p...
متن کاملAnterior cruciate ligament reconstruction failure after tibial shaft malunion.
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction is common, with >100,000 procedures performed each year in the United States. Several factors are associated with failure, including poor surgical technique, graft incorporation failure, overly aggressive rehabilitation, and trauma. Tibial shaft fracture is also common and frequently requires operative intervention. Failure to reestablish the anat...
متن کاملGraft Selection in Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction
Advances in surgical technique and rehabilitation have resulted in marked improvement in the outcome of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction over the past 10 years. Most recent series approach a 90% success rate in terms of restoration of knee stability, patient satisfaction, and return to full athletic activity.1 The optimal graft material remains controversial, regardless of the gr...
متن کاملGraft Choices for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction
The question of which graft to use for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction continues to be debated at meetings around the world. The overall choice of grafts consists of autografts, allografts, and synthetic grafts. By far the two most commonly used grafts are central third bone-patellar tendon-bone and hamstring tendon, either semitendinosus alone or semitendinosus combined with gr...
